Coexis hires key man for Asia operations and Singapore expansion.

London 18 August 2008 — As part of its continuing expansion in Asia-PAC, global provider of software for capital markets Coexis has hired Ian Stephenson, Lehman Brothers’ former head of IT in Singapore and Operations Technology in Asia, as head of operations in the region. Based in Singapore, Ian will initially focus on managing  local implementations.

London, Hong Kong and New York 13 November 2007 — London and New York-based Coexis announced today that it has signed a global contract with Hong-Kong based CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets (“CLSA”), Asia’s leading independent investment banking and brokerage services provider. The agreement is to deploy Syn~ for securities processing and enterprise-wide reference data management. Syn~ will be the primary processing system for CLSA Transaction Management at its Global Operations Centre in Singapore. Coexis and Swisscanto Funds Centre team up to provide Syn~FundsSupermarket ASP service for Cantonal Banks.

16 November 2005 Coexis and Swisscanto Funds Centre Limited have introduced an ASP (application service provider) service to extend the mutual fund processing facilities offered to the Cantonal (regional) banks in Switzerland. So far 13 Cantonal banks have signed up for the service and moved into live production, which is based on Coexis’s Syn~FundsSupermarket application.

MUSI selects Syn~ for bonds settlement.

London 11 July 2005 Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International plc (MUSI), formally known as Mitsubishi Securities International has selected Syn~ from Coexis to replace the existing ADP Wilco Gloss system for managing its bond business. Syn~Settlements was chosen following a rigorous competitive evaluation and the new system is expected to go live at the end of 2005.

LONDON-10 May 2004 Coexis has implemented Syn~SmartFIXRouter, a FIX cross border, real-time order routing system for emerging markets to create a service called TradeTraveller™, for Marco Polo Network in New York. Syn~SmartFIXRouter accepts orders from the buy side in the developed markets and routes them to an execution venue in one of several emerging markets, such as South Africa, which was first to go live (April 2004).
