Efficient operation in complex environments
Rapid development of unique service to clients – by our clients or Coexis
Automated STP and STEP (straight through exceptions processing)
Integrated real-time work flow and monitoring
Step by step migration from legacy systems
STEP or Straight Through Exception Processing is the resolution and management of exceptions without recourse to human intervention. The automated repair of exceptions is achieved by instigating interactions with other systems – both internal and external, including fetching reference data from central repositories as required to repair outstanding tasks and issues.

Syn
solutions excel at improving efficiency in complex multi-market, multi-company environments (including for example the servicing of multiple clients in a correspondent clearer scenario) across multiple geographies where different products and markets require different processing lifecycles.
As well as delivering high levels of straight through processing (STP), Syn
solutions form a solid foundation for automating STEP (Straight Through Exception Processing) through the close interaction of the transaction and reference data life cycles in securities processing. Integrated, real-time, workflow and managing the automated business process are integral to all Syn
solutions.
Syn
offers a proven alternative to a big bang approach when updating or changing systems, by facilitating an incremental migration from legacy systems without impacting existing service.
Syn
has been designed from the outset as a scalable grid processing environment. This equips our clients with the ability to increase infrastructure costs only marginally as business volumes grow.
Although agnostic about the IT infrastructure, Syn
solutions scale to meet the largest enterrprise requirement on a tiny Linux footprint.
Our modelling approach makes it extremely efficient to build distinctive services in the first place and to change them at will – just one of the reasons why Syn
is a favourite in areas experiencing great flux such as the Asia-PAC markets and where clients seek their own competitive edge through individually tailored service.
Syn
solutions are also enabled for delivery over the Internet or via an SaaS/ASP model.
“What was required was a solution that enabled a workflow and BAM implementation, had modular capability to support a service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, and was sufficiently nimble to allow the addition of functions and to accommodate change.” While there was no shortage of solutions available, most, he reckons, are built in “the traditional way”, but disguised with a lot of bells and whistles. In fact, he suggests the Coexis system was pretty much the only choice available . . .
